ACTS has an outstanding global faculty from around the globe
to teach and train pastors. Some of our faculty members are:
Dr.
Jerry Scolameiro received his Ph.D. in Biblical
Studies from Cambridge Graduate School, Exeter, New
Hampshire. He has served as Associate Professor at the
Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, Portland, Oregon,
and he has been a visiting professor to St. Petersburg
Christian Humanitarian University, St. Petersburg, Russia,
Ternopil Biblical Seminary, Ternopil, Ukraine, Chernivtsi
Biblical Seminary, Chernivtsi, Ukraine, Odessa Theological
Seminary, Odessa, Ukraine. He speaks Russian. |
Dr.
“Skip” Moen has taught college level undergraduate and
graduate courses in religion, ethics, philosophy, and
human sciences, and developed several courses that
explored the relationships between religion and the
sciences, including foundations of social and behavioral
sciences and philosophical inquiries in physics. He
received his Ph.D. from Oxford University, and his M.A.
(cum laude) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Dr. Samuel Madavaraj received his PhD degree from
Louisiana Baptist University, ThD degree from Slidell
Baptist Seminary, and STM (Master of Sacred Theology) from
Dallas Theological Seminary. He has pastored in India, and
taught in seminaries and churches extensively. |
Dr. David Simon received his ThM from Dallas Seminary,
and his DMin. from Baptist Bible Seminary. He has served
as a pastor in India, and is currently pastoring a church
in Danville, PA. |
Dr.
Bob Reid received his BRE, and BTh from Prairie Bible
Institute, Canada, M.Div and D.Min from Luther Rice
Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He has served as
missionary in India for 25 years. He is married with Ruth,
and they have 3 children -- Marilyn, Stephen, and Karen. |
Mrs.
Laurie Westlake -- With a degree in Biblical
Counseling, Laurie Westlake has served as executive
director of a Women's Crisis Pregnancy Center, Director of
Women's Ministries at Texas Baptist Home, and Director of
Women's Ministries of her home church. She and her family
have served in missions in Equatorial Guinea, Mexico, and
Honduras. Laurie has also served as a speaker at numerous
women's events and has several articles published by
various Christian magazines. She is married to Steve, and
they have three children, Ross, Sam, and Mesa. Her familly
resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. |
