"When addressing the challenge of equipping the over two million pastors who lack training...but are serving as pastoral leaders in Africa, Asia and Latin America...one quickly recognizes the need for solid Biblical curriculum. To be effective, this training material needs to be in their heart language and reflect a non-Western mindset. The ACTS International core curriculum does just that. It is the product of a gifted Bible student and practical theologian. Dr. Alvin Low, the author of the curriculum is a Malaysian who has had extensive cross-cultural pastoral training experience. TOPIC leaders in Asia have found this curriculum to be ideally suited for equipping pastoral leaders through non-formal approaches. It is also being used with great effectiveness in Bible Colleges and Seminaries - as a foundational course in pastoral ministry. TOPIC is grateful for the privilege of partnering with ACTS International, in its efforts to see "every church with equipped and maturing pastoral leadership."
